Is it alright if i put olive oil on frozen pizza and bake it in the oven?

yeah its ok, i even put some fresh minced garlic and italian herbs on mineIs it alright if i put olive oil on frozen pizza and bake it in the oven?
Frozen convenience foods products have plenty of oil on them as part of the manufacturing process. The best way to cook frozen pizza is to put it on the wire rack in the pre-heated oven (unless you love raw dough). Those pizza stones work wonders as they are semi-porous. I wouldn't oil a pizza on a pizza stone. Or, if you just love the taste of olive oil, I'd bake the thing on the wire rack, yank the pie out with five minutes to go and spray on olive oil and slap it back into the oven.

I love pizza. I make it from dough mix. Moisture is the biggest problem. Pizza wants to glue to the pans when it cooks and leave a big raw spot in the middle. Is it alright if i put olive oil on frozen pizza and bake it in the oven?
No Olive oil doesn't do well with high heat..It will smoke alot and leave a bitter taste.
It will be fine, thats how pizza places make pizza, by sticking olive oil ontop of the dough, so you should be good.
Yeah if you like it that way!! : )
Yes. Some of the best Italian restaurants use olive oil in their pizzas. If you want to have an amazing taste from a not-so-good frozen pizza the best thing to do is to follow the ideas of great chefs. Another thing that would make the taste even better would be putting some oregano on it as well.
Good idea! Sounds delicious. Be sure to put some on the crust, it will make it a gorgeous brown color.
Quite all right if you prefer it that way.
It won't explode or spontaneously combust.

It might taste a little oily but it won't hurt the pizza or the oven.
